New York is coming back and so is The Unconventional Life. After 20 ...

New York is coming back and so is The Unconventional Life. After 20 months I am finally back out there and documenting my journey of coming to New York ...to chase my entrepreneurial dream.

When we left off we were right at the start of the pandemic, I don’t think anyone would’ve predicted what was to come. It was incredible to see the city that never sleeps go into a deep slumber. Some questioned if it would ever come back. Many asked me why I didn’t pack up and head straight back to Australia. I sacrificed too much to get to this amazing city and I always believe in a comeback. Hanging on to a dream when it looks impossible (and you have no control) is hard, but to me that is what dream chasing is actually all about. How much you can hang on and persevere when the odds are completely against you? For me, I just wasn’t going to let go.

Now the city is starting to wake up, my business has unbelievably smashed it’s 2021 targets, the kids are totally settled and living the American life and whilst I have some emotional and physical exhaustion I am ready to ride this comeback!

I have a new inhouse videographer Dimitri from Lyon, France, which means I can share more of the journey than ever before and see how this vlog evolves in this post pandemic world.

Thank you for joining me and remember if you want to take over the island you have to be prepared to burn the boats. Amazing things happen when there is no plan b.
